It is with greatest pleasure that I can report that my first piece for Tasting Panel magazine is now available in the May/June 2026 issue.
The article highlights the recent work of Luigi Bosca, a South American producer whose forward thinking and keen business acumen has impressed me ever since I visited their operation in Argentina over a decade ago, as told via my interview with fourth-generation owner Alberto Arizu, Jr.
Luigi Bosca is (still, after 125+ years in the biz) making some impressive stuff, which can you read more about in the article—including my reviews of some of their more recent releases, like the high-elevation 2021 Finca Los Nobles Malbec, the swoon-worthy icon-level 2021 Paraíso Red, and the impressively promising 2024 Filos Chardonnay (the latter, in particular, having induced several “holy sh*t, WTF, this is awesome” moments in my head when tasting it with Alberto in NYC).

You can read it online right now at https://www.tastingpanelmag.com/may-june-2026/ but that’s assuming that you already haven’t subscribed, which you absolutely HAVE already done, right? RIGHT?!??
Cheers!
