What do you get when you cross a Master Sommelier, a Master of Wine, and… me?

I don’t know, either, but it’s happening, and I am guessing that it will be entertaining, and hopefully not a little informative.

Wine Conversations 2015
Wine Conversations 2015

I’ll be joining Master Somm Evan Goldstein, and Master of Wine Bob Paulinski in both Santa Rosa and Portland this summer as part of the DIAM Wine Conversations Tasting and Marketing Forum. We’ll be discussing wine consumer trends, and I’m not gonna say that there will be a lot of tough love on that topic… but… well, we all know about my reputation as a speaker on such matters so consider yourselves officially warned.

Press-release-style details can be found below, after the jump.

Hope to see some of you there!

Cheers!

This program aims to provide greater insights and perspectives in winemaking and wine marketing, and is a forum for winemakers and wine marketers to share ideas and learn from one another.

The second annual Wine Conversations features a line-up of top quality wines and winemakers from around the world in a tasting led by Master Sommelier Evan Goldstein. Following the tasting is an opportunity to hear from key influencers in the wine industry, with a presentation by Bob Paulinski, Master of Wine and Senior VP of Wine at Bevmo, as well as Joe Roberts of 1WineDude.com, a Best Overall Wine Blog Finalist for 2011, 2012, and 2013. Both speakers will be providing key insights about consumer trends.

Registration will open on March 1st, 2015. To express early interest and reserve a spot before registration opens, or to have any questions answered, please RSVP to [email protected].

This is a unique opportunity not to be missed!
