It doesn't get much clearer than that. The fact that everyone focussed on the most scandalous interpretation of what was posted doesnt make Goldstein's original information misleading in any way and only indicates that the story might have been blown somewhat out of proportion in the subsequent retelling by others. As to releasing the entire list: to what end? Nobody has tried to argue (who understood what Goldstein originally said that is) that it was anything other than a "perfectly respectable list", though as Goldstein points out on his blog the average of their scores as judged by Wine Spectator was somewhat less than the average score given out by them historically.
